Lakers finish 1st in their Conference and are gearing up for National Tournament Shoot

The Lake Land College Clay Target Team competed in the Fall 2025 USA College Clay Target League over the last 6 weeks competing in 1 Reserve week and 5 Competition Weeks. The Lakers swept all 5 weeks of competition winning the most points out of all other teams all 5 weeks to take home 1^st Place in Conference. The Lakers also had some Individual successes with Freshman Madelyn Coats finishing 5^th place Female in the League and 1^st Place Female in Conference 4. Joining her on the Conference award podium is Freshman Collin Hewing taking home 1^st place Male and Sophomore Garrett Hoene 2^nd Place. The Lakers made up a total of 6 places out of 10 in the Conference Male Category and 3 out of 10 in the Female Category.

Other Notable achievements 7 out of 10 Lakers finished in the Top 100 in the league of 634 participants.

Currently the Lakers are Averaging a 94.15% avg for all ATA competition targets and Clay target League as they prepare for Nationals this weekend November 1^st and 2nd.
